Our story

Six decades in gold

What began as a single counter of hand-beaten gold in Ratlam is now a house three generations of families come back to.

We would rather explain the price than hide it

Chhajed Jewellers opened in 1962 with one counter, one karigar and a simple promise: you would always know exactly what you were buying. Six decades later that has not changed. Every invoice breaks out metal rate, net weight, making charges and stone value line by line.

Our karigars still finish each piece by hand. Our buyback still returns full value on gold. And our design team still sits with you across a counter, not behind a screen.

01

Purity you can verify

Every piece is BIS hallmarked with a six-digit HUID you can look up yourself. Diamonds arrive with IGI or SGL certification.

02

Transparent making charges

Making charges are quoted per gram before you commit, and printed on the invoice. Nothing is folded into the metal rate.

03

Lifetime exchange

Exchange any Chhajed gold piece at full prevailing value, any time, at any store. Diamonds carry a lifetime upgrade policy.

Made by hand, backed for life

A single pair of jhumkas can pass through seven pairs of hands before it reaches the display case — casting, filing, setting, polishing, quality check, hallmarking, final finish. We keep that work in-house because it is the only way to stand behind it.

If something is not right, bring it back. Repairs, re-polishing and re-sizing on Chhajed pieces are free for life.
