Bring a sketch, a photograph, or an heirloom you want reworked. Our karigars have been making one-off pieces for six decades.
A conversation, not a catalogue
Most commissions begin with something small — a photograph of a grandmother’s necklace, a screenshot saved months ago, or simply an occasion and a budget. You do not need to know what you want in technical terms. That is our job.
Sit with our design team at any store, or send what you have to design@chhajedjewellers.com. We will come back with a quote and a 3D render within four working days.
Five stages, and you approve each one
Nothing moves to the next stage without your sign-off, and the quote is fixed once you approve the render.
Brief
Reference images, occasion, budget and a rough timeline.
Render
A 3D visual and a fixed quote broken into metal, making and stones.
Wax model
For larger commissions, a wax or resin model to check scale on the body.
Making
Casting, setting, polishing and hallmarking — all in our own workshop.
Handover
Final fitting, certificate, invoice with every line itemised.

- Reworking heirloom gold into something wearable today
- Temple and antique-finish work in 22KT
- Men’s rings, kadas and chains
- Corporate gifting and milestone pieces in volume
Practical things to know
- Timeline — 12–15 working days for most pieces; bridal suites need 4–6 weeks
- Deposit — 30% on approval of the render, balance before dispatch
- Your own gold — bring it in and we will weigh, test and set it against the commission
- Changes — free up to the wax stage; after casting begins, changes are quoted
- Returns — commissioned pieces cannot be returned, which is why we do not start until you approve the render
