What we take back at full value

Where a deduction applies
- Gold bought elsewhere — we still exchange it, at prevailing rate less refining loss, assessed and quoted before you agree
- Diamonds bought elsewhere — valued case by case; stones without certification are valued conservatively
- Damaged or altered pieces — repairable damage is fine; third-party alteration may affect the assessment
The fine print, in plain words
- Exchange value is always calculated at the rate prevailing on the day you walk in, not the day you bought.
- Making charges on the original purchase are not refunded in cash, but they are not deducted from gold value either.
- Buyback for cash applies to coins and bars. Jewellery is exchanged against other jewellery.
- We may ask for ID on higher-value transactions, as required by law.
- Bring the invoice if you can. Without it we can still help, but assessment takes longer.
